Born and raised in Massachusetts and the daughter of two music teachers, I grew up in a world of music, and began playing flute when I was seven years old. When I was nine, my parents took me to see The Phantom of the Opera at Boston’s Wang Theater - although I was terrified the whole time, the experience confirmed for me that I would always want a life in the performing arts. A "band geek" through high school, I performed in district ensembles, traveled to and performed in Japan with the Concord-Carlisle High School Concert Band, and attended the Summer Youth Music School at the University of New Hampshire for two summers. 

I earned my B.A. in Music Performance from Case Western Reserve University in cooperation with the Cleveland Institute of Music. I have studied flute with Katherine DeJongh of the Canton Symphony and ProMusica Chamber Orchestra; Mary Kay Robinson of the Cleveland Pops, Panoramicos, New Hampshire Music Festival, and Music from Angel Fire; and Lisa Hennessy of the Portland Symphony Orchestra, Boston Ballet Orchestra, and Boston Landmarks Orchestra. I have also taken lessons in voice , piano, ballet , and theatre . While at CWRU, I performed with the Case Symphonic Winds, University Circle Wind Ensemble, Case/University Circle Symphony Orchestra, Case Concert Choir, Case Chamber Music, the Opera Scenes Workshop, and performed regularly as a soloist for the Church of the Covenant in Cleveland. 

After graduating from CWRU, I decided my calling was to combine my love of the arts with my leadership skills, and to devote my career to managing arts organizations, and increasing the accessibility of the arts across varied demographics. I received my M.S. in Arts Administration from Boston University in 2015, and completed a graduate certificate in Fundraising Management from BU in 2016.

I am also an avid equestrian, so in the few moments when I am not working or participating in performing arts-related events, you can find me at the barn. I also love spending time with my Pittie mix Minnie, running, watching movies, and dreaming of places to travel next.
